This is how I work.
Light does not decide quickly.
Matter reacts. You have to wait. Return. Work again.
Between matte and reflection. Between density and breathing.
Oil and pigment on canvas is a slow medium. It does not forgive impatience.
Time is not a posture. It is a condition.
Atmospheric abstraction is built in this time. Layer after layer, from my studio in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, each surface is a record of sustained attention.
