About Claire Lassonnery

Claire Lassonnery is a French contemporary abstract artist based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, working internationally.

A Doctor of Pharmacy by training, she first explored the invisible structures of matter through science, before translating that same precision into an artistic practice that is both demanding and deeply sensorial.

Her practice is built around atmospheric abstraction — a fixed compositional grammar of disc, horizon, and three bands — executed in oil and pigment on canvas.

Each surface is built layer after layer. Sanded. Polished. Refined. Until the material holds its own light.

Her work has been exhibited at Alliance Française de Kuala Lumpur, Alliance Française de Penang, Grimaldi Forum Monaco, and is on permanent view at Artitude Galeria, 9 Dempsey Hill, Singapore.

Private collections in Asia and Europe.
